Diagnostic Biotechnology

A set of three online lectures and a laboratory training on ‘Diagnostic Biotechnology’ was developed for the Phar-IN project by the University of Catania, Italy:

Introduction to clinical applications (in Italian)

DNA sequencing methods (in Italian)

Genomic and expression micro-arrays (in Italian)

Lab training: Expression micro-arrays and whole transcriptome analysis (in English)

These videos are aimed at undergraduate students with a basic biology and genetic background. The expected time investment is 1 hour for each lecture and at least 2 additional hours of individual study per lesson.
